Stockport Occupational Therapy is a family run business owned by Phillippa Jones.

After qualifying with a first class honours degree in occupational therapy and working with children for over eight years, Phillippa recognised the need for a new approach in delivering occupational therapy to children and young persons.

Forming therapeutic relationships is the keystone that holds paediatric occupation therapy together; with out a relationship between child and therapist, there will be very limited progress.

We believe the key to forming those therapeutic relationships is dedication and continuity.
Continuity, were the same occupational therapist works with the same child through out the occupational therapy process.

We have no case managers putting profit before process, swapping therapist’s mid programme to suit company profits.

At Stockport Occupational Therapy we believe passionately in what the occupational therapy process can achieve, and coupled with the dedication of our experienced therapists and our commitment to continuity, we really do aim to switch on every child’s potential.
